The Ministry of Music at Pohick Church traditionally has six groups of choirs and ensembles. Currently there are 35 active music participants from the Parish.
New members of all ages are always welcome.
Liturgical Church Music plays an important part in the worship of God, amplifying The Lectionary, a part of the Liturgy, calling all to prayer, and inspiring and encouraging those present to faithfully live their Christian lives in the world. Pohick Church musicians seek to provide such a ministry in this integral role of music in worship, which is at the center of the Christian life.

1, POHICK CHILDREN CHOIR: singers: Children Grades 3-6
Rehearses Thursday's 5:30-6:15 p.m., RSCM Choir Training, Music Room
Sings an anthem, hymns & service music monthly

2. POHICK CHOIR - 20 members: Sopranos, Altos, Tenor & Basses
Rehearses weekly Thursday's 7:30-9:00 p.m., Music Room
Meets weekly on Sunday's 9:45-10:15 a.m., Music Room & Church
Sings anthems and service music Sunday's & Holy Days Labor Day to Trinity Sunday

3. POHICK HANDBELLS - 8 handbell ringers
Rehearses Thursday's 6:15-7:15 p.m., Music Room
Plays handbells & choir chimes

4. POHICK PICKERS - an ensemble of instrumentalists
Rehearses Monthly on Sunday at 9 a.m., Church
Plays monthly on the 3rd Sunday of the month

5. POHICK YOUTH CHOIR: singers: Youth Grades 7-12
Rehearses Thursday's 5:30-6:15 p.m., RSCM Choir Training, Music Room
Sings an anthem, hymns & service music monthly

6. POHICK SAINT FRANCIS CHOIR: young singers Kindergarten-Grade 2
Rehearses weekly Thursday's 5:30-6:15 p.m., Room D
Simgs a hymn on the 2nd Sunday of the month
