We will also look at church tradition and extra-biblical sources that will help us understand what may have happened to the apostles after the resurrection and ascension of Jesus. ·     COMPUTER SCAM – Several parishioners received emails from a scammer purported to be from Rev Daniel from a bogus email account. Please do not respond to these suspicious emails. Pohick Staff, Vestry members, and Clergy would not reach out in this manner.

·         A special thank you to the Brotherhood for providing Pohick Church with Forward Day by Day quarterly issues. The latest issue, which includes daily reflections that follow the Bible verses, is available in the Parish House.

·        The Pohick Chapter of the Brotherhood of St. Andrew invites all the men and youth of Pohick to attend any of our Saturday 8:00 am meetings for fellowship, breakfast, discussion of issues we are working on to support Pohick, and about 20 to 30 minutes of bible study.

 ·       Volunteers are needed to stream our services to Facebook and YouTube. We now routinely stream many of our services and need to expand our streaming team. Anyone age 18 or older with some comfort using personal computers is welcome to join our small team for this fun and important ministry. We will teach you everything you need to know, but it's really not hard to do this. Please contact Chris Brown to volunteer (cbrown@pohick.org), or talk to him any time he's around, or stop in the church office when a service is being streamed and speak with whomever is streaming the service at that time.

Ask a past Pohick graduate (there are many!) about how EfM has helped them on their spiritual path.   For more info or to register, contact Denise McHugh at 410-300-9867 or dmchugh@umd.edu, or John Egan 703-973-5038 or jjegan3@netscape.net.
