 ch Chapter of the Brotherhood of St Andrew plans to conduct a Memorial Day
  2026 observance\, 0930-1000 at the Bell Tower. Everyone is invited and en
 couraged to attend to remember and honor our Veterans killed in combat or 
 who died because of combat injuries.\n10 am-12 pm: For parents with childr
 en under 36 months of age who wish to attend our summer adult forums and a
 re in need of the Nursery: please contact the office in advance so we can 
 arrange for the nursery to be open and an attendant to be on site.\nSTARTS
  SUNDAY: During the summer\, Children’s Bible Storytelling is offered in
  lieu of Children’s Chapel. Children’s Bible Storytelling is for presc

 n\nBEGINNING MAY 31: Summer Children's Sunday School: For parents who wish
  to attend our summer adult forums\, Pohick Church will be offering a summ
 er Sunday School program for children. This will be a combined class of ch
 ildren ages 4-12 and will meet in Classroom A from 9:15am-10:15am on Sunda
 y mornings. Summer Sunday school will begin on May 31stand will end on Aug
 ust 30th. All children are welcome to attend!\nThe Martha Guild would like
  to thank everyone that came out to support our Wine Tasting. It was a wo
 nderful evening and a great time was enjoyed by all. A special thanks to 
 Terry &amp\; Marc Abrams for opening their home for this event. The raffl
 e winners were -- "Blind Date Book Club Basket"/ the Bogdan Family\, the "
 Farm To Table Basket" / Marina Longmire and the "Ready for the Beach Baske
 t"/Beth Cooke.  Congratulations to these winners. We appreciate the sup
 port that the congregation gives us\, which allows us to continue our miss

 YC Coffee HouseSaturday May 30th from 5 pm to 7 pm (approximately) in the

 ong\, recite poetry\, read prose\, do a short skit\, dance\, do a comedy r

 ted.\n2026 Honduras Mission Trip: July 25- August 1: Rev. Daniel will be l
 eading a team of youth and adults to Concepcion Del Sur\, Honduras on a me
 dical and construction mission. We will be working with Friends of Hondura
 s USA\, a non-profit organization established for the purposes of providin
 g advocacy for the victims of poverty and abuse in Honduras\, promoting de
 mocracy\, and facilitating trustworthy communication. The mission team wil
 l be providing much needed medical care for the residents of Concepcion De
 l Sur and assisting with the ongoing construction of a medical facility in
  the community. Team members will also travel to remote locations in the H
 onduran mountains to distribute medical supplies\, food\, and other necess
 ities. No prior medical\, construction\, or missions experience is necessa

 and Bernice Kilmarx &amp\; Anne Powell Scholarshipis now open to graduatin
 g high school seniors of 2026. The purpose of the scholarship is to encou
 rage and assist the youth of Pohick Church by providing financial assistan
 ce for our college students\, encouraging the parish to continue to provid
 e prayer and emotional support\, and raising awareness of parish youth in 
 post-secondary education. Applications are in the Parish Office and also c

 ication\, essay\, and two letters of reference to the church office attent
 ion to The Scholarship Committee by May 31. Awards will be given on Youth
