Being Reconciled in Christ

2008 Adult Lenten SeriesCPohick Episcopal Church

The Reverend Donald D. Binder, PhD

Description: As Christians, we are called to be reconciled one to another in Christ. Yet experience has suggested that individual Christians are ill-equipped to carry out this charge. As a consequence, they too suffer broken and strained relationships with family members, co-workers, supervisors and even fellow parishioners. These, in turn, often lead to a deterioration in their spiritual lives, as well as a general erosion of their relationships with others. This class will explore some key principles of Christian reconciliation that are both scripturally sound and practically applicable to real-world situations. From this study, it is hoped that class members will be able to work constructively toward reconciling any broken relationships they might have and even to help facilitate reconciliation among others.
