EYC Summer News

The EYC has a very active summer planned! All EYC youth should have received a summer calendar listing the events and activities. Additional flyers have been posted on the EYC bulletin board in the common room. Our calendar is also on the Pohick Church website - please check it out!

The events for the summer are as follows:

We will campout for the evening and return home the next day. The cost if $40 per person. Please bring clothes for the river, several changes of clothes, and a sleeping bag. This event is for RISING 7th graders through graduating seniors.

We will also be starting a small group program this summer for the rising 7th graders through senior high EYC youth. Both you and your child should have received a copy of the small group brochure in the mail a couple of weeks ago. The small groups will be set up according to gender and age. The groups will focus on fun, friendship, and fellowship as well as to give the youth a chance to explore and discuss the bible. The small groups will also be a safe place for youth to talk about things that are bothering or challenging them. Most importantly, we hope the youth will find the small groups a tool for discipleship. Please feel free to contact me or Andy and Nicole Fluet if you have additional questions or if your youth wants to sign up for the small groups.

We look forward to a fun and busy schedule this summer. As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
