Also, having participated in a wide range of Christian education opportunities, I actively support the development and enrichment of our educational programs. Through Christian Education we strengthen our Faith and we strengthen our community bond as a congregation. Ultimately, it is our caring for each other that demonstrates Pohick Church’s servant leadership philosophy. Developing our lay ministry and pastoral care response to those who need a listening ear or a helping hand fulfills an important part of Pohick Church’s mission. Having been a member of Pohick Church for fifteen years, I would consider it an honor to serve on the vestry and work with others to nurture our history, our educational programs, and our ministry to each other.
