Junior Warden's Report
Thanks to all who helped with the Fall Cleanup. Completion of various painting projects, as well as other inside and outside activities were undertaken. Inside work included kitchen cleaning, polishing of pew plaques, and replacing the men’s room panel in the Parish House. Outside projects included much gardening work around the Church and Parish House grounds, replacing three tons of gravel in the nursery drain area, cemetery work and rainwater diversion in the parking lot. The upkeep of Church and grounds requires volunteer work from parishioners. An extension to the storage shed is complete. This additional room will provide much needed space for storage of apple butter supplies. Handicap access to the Church and Parish House is of utmost importance. Although there are handicap ramps at the Church and at the Parish House, witnessing the difficulty in maneuvering them provides a different view. Cracks in the pavement, uneven brick on walkways, as well as entrance to ramps need immediate improvement. Thanks to the work of select parishioners, improvements have been completed, however, many more are required. Please see the Junior Warden with ideas or special contributions for improvement. |
