USHERS & POTENTIAL USHERS For those considering becoming an usher, the Church would greatly benefit from additional ushers, especially at the 7:45 am and 11:15 am services. Although it does not require a huge time commitment, ushering is a rewarding ministry that plays a very important role in welcoming potential new members into the Church and making them feel at home like part of the family. Ushers are needed to serve at either of the Christmas Eve services (6:30 pm and 10:30 pm). Six ushers will be required for each service, so please consider volunteering for this special evening. Volunteers are especially needed for events such as funerals that are often held during the week. Currently, there are only a few ushers available for this very important ministry, and it would be good to have some more people upon who to call. An usher contact roster is being compiled to facilitate disseminating information, arranging for changes in usher duties, and requesting volunteers for special events. Ushers please take a moment to send an email to Mo Faber with the following information: Name, home email address, work email address, and home, work, and cell phone numbers. Please provide as much of the listed information as possible. As the new Head Usher, the continued support of the congregation is greatly appreciated. Any suggestions to better serve the Church through ushers are welcome. To become an usher, to volunteer for weekday functions, or to volunteer for Christmas Eve services, please contact Mo Faber at faberm@osd.pentagon.mil or mo66@cox.net.
