The Junior and Senior High EYC had a great fall retreat in November. The Junior and Senior High guys retreated to the Binders home on the Northern Neck. Special thanks to Buck Gastrell, Terry Mullins and Bob McNeal for chaperoning the event! The Junior and Senior High girls retreated to the Crump’s cabin in West Virginia with the EYC advisors. It was a great and relaxing weekend filled with fellowship and bible study. The Junior and Senior High retreat in the spring should be something to look forward to.

December is a busy and fun filled month for the EYC. On December 3, there will be a dinner followed by all three EYC groups. The following weekend will be Christmas parties for the Junior and Senior High – more details to follow. On December 18, all three groups will be visiting The Fairfax to spread Christmas cheer after the 9:00 am service. Afterwards, there will be a pizza party at the Church. EYC will not be held the following Sunday, which is December 25.

The mission trip for the Senior High EYC has been selected for next summer. The group will be attending a workcamp in Smithers, West Virginia from July 9 – July 15. All current 8th graders through current seniors are welcome to join the trip. All youth interested in attending should contact Jen Crump-Strawderman at 703-339-6572.
