Christian Education News Church school is going very well with 175 students enrolled. The teachers and staff are doing an outstanding job, and the time donated is vital to this important ministry. The annual Christmas Pageant, “The Gift”, will be held on December 12 at 4:00 pm in the Church with a reception following in the Common Room. Rusty Booth, an experienced pageant director is doing a wonderful job again this year. All of the church school students play a part in the pageant. The preschoolers through sixth graders are working hard on their parts and songs. The seventh and eighth graders are writing and practicing the introduction, while the senior high are acting as coaches, stage crew, or ushers. During church school on December 19, the fifth through twelve grade students will be visiting the Fairfax, the Westminster , and shut-ins. The students will be delivering gift bags with items made by all of the church school students. Students should meet in the Vestry House immediately following the 9:00 am service. Following the visits, the students will return to classrooms A and B for a pizza party. Permission slips will be handed out during church school early in December. Please have each student bring a permission slip, which will be distributed in early December, and $3.00 for pizza. If anyone knows someone who would enjoy a visit or basket, please contact Frances Sessums.
