Learn to Knit!

            The Pohick Prayer Shawl Ministry has resulted in an interest for many people to learn to knit. Since the Prayer Shawl Ministry meets only once per month and learning to knit requires reinforcement a bit more often, Stella Kullstam will be offering knitting classes once a week. These classes began September 24 and will continue for eight weeks. Everyone will meet on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at Stella’s home which is less than 2.5 miles from Pohick Church. Classes will cost $20 for yarn and needles. Any funds remaining will be donated to the Church mission program.

The Prayer Shawl Ministry will continue to meet on the third Saturday morning of each month in an upstairs classroom.
