Jackson-Feild Homes
Christmas Gifts for the Girls of Marshall Cottage

The Jackson-Feild Homes are special homes for at-risk girls between the ages of 13 - 18 years. The main campus is located in Jarrett, Virginia with a satellite home, Eleventh House, in Richmond. The organization was founded by Episcopalians in 1855, and currently provides counseling, education, and skills training for approximately 53 girls on various campuses. The Ann Mason Guild sponsors the girls residing in Marshall Cottage, which houses approximately 10 girls at one time. In most cases, the girls remain at Jackson-Feild for about a year.

This Christmas season, as in years past, the Guild is planning to purchase a variety of gifts for the girls. Nightshirts, bathrobes, slipper sox, phone cards, novels, Play Station games, crafts, personal care items, and journals have been especially popular. The gifts must be in the mail prior to Thanksgiving, therefore, monetary donations need to be collected now to begin fulfilling some of the requests.

Thanks to all who have so generously contributed to the Marshall Cottage Christmas project in the past. Rest assured that the donations have been, and will be, well spent and appreciated by all the girls.             Checks may be made payable to the Ann Mason Guild and placed in the alms basin or brought to the Ann Mason box in the Church office. Please be sure the checks are earmarked for Jackson-Feild.
