The Church school year will begin with registration and the Ice Cream Social on Sunday, September 9 directly following the 9:00 am service. Parents will have the opportunity to meet all of the teachers and review the curriculum used for all of the classes. Please be sure to register all students individually as this is very important for the records. For those unable to attend Church on this Sunday, please register students in Frances Sessums’ office upstairs outside classrooms D and B. It is very important to have registration forms for all students!

            The ice cream will be provided for the Ice Cream Social. Donations of toppings such as sprinkles, nuts, cherries, syrups, M & Ms, candies, and whipped cream are needed.  

            The first day of classes will be September 16. As in the past, the students will leave the church during the recessional hymn and go directly to their classes. Classes will end at 11:05 am. It is requested that parents of preschoolers through fourth grade pick up their students from their classrooms.

            Pohick is very blessed to have so many wonderful people who have volunteered to be teachers and staff members this year for the Church school! Many of these people have been teaching for numerous years. A staff roster is posted on the bulletin boards upstairs and downstairs. A BIG THANKS goes to each of these outstanding individuals for all they do for the Church school! Please take a moment to thank them.
