Lorton Community Action Center is collecting school supplies for children in the Lorton area. Please consider purchasing items off the list to make sure local children can start their school year right! All donations should be placed in the marked box in the Common Room, and must be received by Sunday, August 21. Most needed items include:

Black and white composition notebooks
Wide rule and college rule paper, looseleaf
Fiskar scissors
Large pink erasers
Colored pencils
Magic markers, washable
Paperback dictionary
Subject dividers – 6 pack
Binders, 1”, 2” and 3”
School glue, large and small glue sticks
Blue and black pens
Calculators
12” rulers (metric and standard)
1⁄4” graph paper
2 pocket folders with brads
Yellow highlighters
Ziploc bags
Tissues
Primary pencils
Large pink erasers
Letter size clipboards
School boxes for supplies
