HEALTH NEWS Last month information was presented on hyper- tension. Hopefully, the information was helpful and the new knowledge is being put into practice. A Blood Pressure Screening is scheduled for July 24, after both services. Plan to attend this free check up! With the summer months, there is usually an increase in physical activity. Physical activity can contribute to feeling better and improved health. There are many fun active things that can be done individually or with family and friends. Children and adults should participate in at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity each day. It can be done all at once or 10 minutes at a time, three times a day. For those not used to being active, start out slowly and work up to thirty minutes a day. Add more activities for longer periods of time and then try to add more vigorous activity. The more movement, the better. Check out some of these simple activities to get started TODAY! To perk
