The annual parish retreat is fast approaching: June 24 - 26! All Pohickians are encouraged to participate in this weekend of renewal and spiritual enrichment. For those new to Pohick, the parish holds an annual retreat the fourth weekend in June, usually the weekend after the kids get out of school. Here are a few great reasons to attend:

• Terrific way to meet and get to know fellow parishioners.
• Like last year, there will be three sessions focusing on needlepoint, music, drama, and
digital photography – all back by popular demand.
• Cozy rooms in quaint cottages and houses in a secluded resort community from yesteryear;
time stands still at Shrine Mont; no traffic, no TV, no cell phones, no computers.
• The setting is as peaceful as it gets, take the opportunity to curl up on a porch with a book or fun project.

With 129 attending last year, the retreat was pretty much at capacity. Please sign up early! Look for the flyer/application found in the Pohick Post. Simply drop the completed application along with a check into the collection plate at Sunday services, or in the Church Office.
