There is a wonderful opportunity to respond to mission in conjunction with the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana, Office of Disaster Response. Outreach/Mission is putting together a mission trip to the New Orleans area to assist with rebuilding. At this time, rather than construction, the mission is to help with cleanup in homes. Perhaps, in another year, there will be an opportunity for the Construction phase of this very long project. The trip is currently expected to take place during June or July, and based on the schedule of those who express interest, the date will be set. People over 18 years of age who are interested in participating in this mission are encouraged to contact Susan Homar at Susan.homar@nciainsurance.com. For those unable to go on the cleanup trip, additional ways to support the cleanup effort will be identified during May.
