EYC NEWS
February was a busy and event-filled month for EYC, but the youth of Pohick rose to the challenge. The Superbowl Party was held at the Rectory, and the game was digitally projected for the first time. Only two days later, the Pancake Supper was a huge success with every teen from 5 th grade to Senior High pitching in to help. Many thanks to the parents of the youth as well as Rusty Booth, Ellie Crump, Randy Brooks, Angela Edgemon, Phyllis Pinkard, Diana and Tom Bland, Edwardine Pitcock, Bill Bland, and the Brotherhood for giving so much support to EYC.
March should be a peaceful month for the EYC program. There will finally be four regular Sunday meetings in a month, which will give the advisors time to move forward with the spring activities in the 5th and 6th , and Jr. and Sr. High groups. The first Mission Trip Meeting will be in March, and the Palm Sunday Fairfax Visit is scheduled for the third weekend of March. Focus will be full-speed ahead on the Mission Trip.
Congratulations are in order to Nicole and Andy Fluet, two of EYC's dedicated advisors, on the birth of their baby Lorraine. Knowing the Senior High-ers, they'll never run out of babysitters!
