Confirmation classes for youth who are 12 years of age or older will begin on February 10. Mother Donna will be teaching the youth this year. On February 10, there will be a student and parent meeting in classrooms A and B at 5:00 pm to decide on meeting times. Anyone interested in confirmation classes should contact Mother Donna at 703-339-6572.  
            On Sunday, February 10, the 5th - 12th grade students will be visiting the Fairfax and Westminster retirement homes to deliver Valentine Bud vases. The bud vases will be sold during the coffee hours on February 3. The cost is $6.00 and includes a Valentine’s card and a beautiful bud vase. Purchase the vase and card for a specific person or send one to someone at the Fairfax that will be designated later. Kelley Perconti has once again volunteered to make the beautiful vases. She has been so very kind to have done this for Pohick these past five years and does an outstanding job!
            February 13 will be the first Wednesday evening Lenten Program. During the class time, the nursery will be available with a paid attendant. Frances Sessum will be teaching the Preschoolers through third graders.
            During the month of February, the preschoolers through 4th graders will continue with their Godly Play studies. The 5th - 12th grade students continue to study the Living the Good News Curriculum, which is a study of the weekly lectionary. If anyone would like to review the curriculum please come by Frances’ office. All questions or concerns should be directed to Frances Sessums.
