George Washington Breakfast

Please mark the calendar for the annual George Washington Breakfast, which will be held on Monday, February 18. The1662 Morning Prayer service, the service used at Pohick during Washington’s tenure, will be used in honor of the President. Although in a departure from the 18th century, there will be music. The service will be followed by a hot breakfast in the Common Room prepared by the Brotherhood of St. Andrew. Breakfast will also feature a guest speaker. For those hungering for still more on Pohick and its rich history, the morning will conclude with a docent-led tour of the Church building. Tickets will be sold for a $5.00 donation at coffee hours through the February 17 and will also be available at the door.
