Scout Sunday
On February 11 at the 9:00 am service, Pohick Church will celebrate Scout Sunday. All Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Sea Scouts, and Venture Crew members are invited to participate. Adult Scouters, parents, and friends of Scouts are encouraged to join in and help. Food is needed for the coffee hour as well as assistance with serving.
Scouts and Scouters will be in uniform and serve in various roles during and after the service. Sign-up sheets for food and service positions are on the Common Room bulletin board. All questions should be directed to Buck Gastrell, Joe Moran, or Doug Smith. Emailed messages or service sign-ups should be sent to bgastrell@cox.net. Former Scouts should look for their Eagle pins, sashes, or other vintage uniform components to wear proudly on Scout Sunday!
