Wow! Even with five Sundays, January went by quickly! Every aspect of planning and conducting the Winter Retreat was enjoyable. Thanks to a dedicated and selfless group of volunteers, the Winter Retreat was a huge success! Also, thanks to Susan Pehrrson and Jackie Mullin's planning, the 5th and 6th graders had a great time at the Lasertag Winter Party.

With the arrival of February comes many annual events – the Superbowl Party, the Pancake Supper and the Lenten Program. For the Pancake Supper, there is a need for decorations, donated ingredients, cooks, dishwashers and servers. Proceeds from the Pancake Supper will go to the Spring Retreat. Also, an enthusiastic parent is needed to assist in conducting the youth Lenten Program. The curriculum will be provided along with the supplies, and the leadership; the volunteer needs to bring love, consistency, and a bit of fun! 

Thanks to all the youth members, parents, and advisors who helped to make January a great month. Together, many opportunities can be offered to the youth for Christian fellowship and service. February should be a spiritually fruitful month for the youth of the church!
