EYC News

As Christmas draws near and the year comes to a close, it is appropriate to remember and thank God for His greatest gift - His Son. It is also appropriate to thank Him for the people that give life meaning like family, friends, and fellow travelers on the Way. It is especially fitting to thank Him for the youth of this parish - their energy, faith, and generosity are a most wonderful gift to the parish and the community.

All kids in the fifth grade and higher are welcome to join EYC and participate in all the wonderful activities. There are a number of great things planned for the rest of the year and the more the merrier.

The next EYC meeting is January 6, 2008 at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall. As it is the first Sunday of the month, there will be a dinner and then separate meetings of the different EYC groups - 5th and 6th grade, Junior High, Senior High.

For rising 9th graders that are not currently EYC participants, please pray about joining the annual EYC mission trip. This year the missionaries will be going to Savannah, Georgia, and it promises to be an exciting time filled with learning, helping, and growing. Please direct any questions to Mother Donna or check the web site for additional information on the trip by the first of the year.
