April 2006 Welcome to the Pohick Post Online! Lent is rising to a crescendo, with one final Wednesday Evening Dinner and Study (April 5) before Holy Week. Even if you haven't attended any of the earlier ones, please join us for some wonderful food, fellowship, study and worship (6:30- 8:30). The Martha Guild will generously be providing the meal, so just show up! This month's Rector's column reviews all of the Holy Week and Easter Services, and also raises the issue of a sound system inside the church. Fill out the survey to let the Vestry hear your opinion on this matter. Elsewhere, our Assistant offers up some useful prayers, while our Jr. Warden highlights some pressing property concerns. Also, read how you can support our EYC Mission Trip to West Virginia and Adult Mission Trip to New Orleans.
