March 2006 Welcome to the Pohick Post Online! Lent has arrived, and with it, our forty day period of special devotion as we prepare for Holy Week and Easter in mid-April. This month's E-Post covers many of the season's activities, including our Wednesday night Lenten Suppers, Studies and Services, which run 6:30-8:30 pm over five weeks, beginning March 8. Read the Rector's column to learn more about the study topics, as well as the change in the dinner format we are trying out this year. Owing to the lateness of the season, we do get an early pause for a bit of frivolity in our celebration of St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, March 11 at 6 pm. Come on out and enjoy all of the traditional Irish foods as we commemorate the great patron Saint of Ireland!
