January 2006 Welcome to the Pohick Post Online! This month's edition of the E-Post comes with our best wishes to you and your loved ones for a very Happy New Year! January is typically the month of Receptions and Forums at Pohick, and this year is no exception. We'll be welcoming our new Minister of Music, Linda Egan, at a reception on January 8, her first Sunday with us. The following Sunday, January 15, we will be hosting a special reception for Newcomers to our Congregation. The month is rounded out with a Pre-Diocesan Council Forum on January 22, and a presentation from our Young People about this past year's Mission Trip on January 29. And don't forget that we will be on a Holiday Schedule on Sunday, January 1, with services at 8 & 10 am. Otherwise, services and Sunday school classes will be back at their normal times. If you missed the December Parish meeting, read this month's Rector's Column for a recap, supplemented by a report on the last Vestry meeting of the year by our Sr. Warden.
