November 28: Reflection Questions for Chapters 26-28

26a. When are you most vulnerable to temptation?

26b. What Christlike character quality can I develop by defeating the most common temptation I face?

27a. What are the steps for defeating temptation, and which could help you the most?

27b. Who could I ask to be a spiritual partner to help me defeat a persistent temptation by praying for me?

28a. Reflect upon the following passage: “For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love. For if these things are yours and are increasing among you, they keep you from being ineffective and unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Pet 1:5–8). How can you apply this formula to your life?

28b. In what area of my spiritual growth do I need to be more patient and persistent?
