Class One: Reflection Questions

1. What does the Parable of the Wicked Tenants (Luke 20:9-16) tell us about the relationship between God and humanity vis-à-vis possessions?

2. What difference does it make when you consider that your money is on loan from God?

3. Homework: Reflecting upon the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), look over a recent checkbook register and/or credit card statement. Since every spending decision is a spiritual decision, ask yourself: in what ways has my Christian faith informed my past spending decisions? How might my faith help me in making future ones?
