Francis Choir is for children in grades K-3. It rehearses Wednesday
nights from 6:00-6:30. Singers learn basic note reading skills as well
as traditional songs of Episcopal worship through singing and games. If
you have children interested in this choir, please contact Barbara Lynn
through one of the church numbers. Pohick
Bell Choir has children in grades 9-12 and post-high school
adults. The bell choir rehearses Thursdays from 6:30-7:30. Ringers

various ringing techniques, including the use of mallets! This
fun group plays for church at least once every two months for the
9:15 and 11 :15 services. If you would like to be a member but
cannot make a weekly commitment, we often need substitute ringers-especially
if you have rung before. Please see Linda Egan or
call one of the church numbers
for more information. The Pohick Pickers are a folk music ensemble comprised of various instruments such as guitar, banjo and fiddle. This group plays for Communion once a month, plays for the Pohick Country Fair, the Homeless Christmas Party, as well as for other outreach and community activities. If you are interested in playing or singing with this group, call John Sessums, director, through one one the church numbers. |
