I was baptized at Pohick Church in 1956 by Rev. Jones and attended the church regularly as a child from 1960 to 1964 participating in the choir. Many of the local Washington family members also attended at this time. In 1964, our family moved to Baltimore in a job transfer and did not return to Virginia. I remember Pohick as a warm, friendly church in which to worship.

I am looking for my great-grandparents. We thought they had been buried at Buckhall Cemetery but were just informed they should be buried at Pohick. Can you please tell me if Joseph Franklin Beavers or Idabelle/Ida Bell Beavers are buried in the cemetery? If they are, how can I find them or their marker if they even have one. Thank you for your time.

Your website bespeaks a vibrant parish. Our Anglican church just posted a website and is starting a revitalization process with some strategic planning. Any words of wisdom? In Christ's work, Don Rutherford, Church Warden

Researching the church that my ancestors attended (William Triplett) along with George Washington. Found your site to be very informative and well-organized. Hope to visit with you and attend services this summer.

Nice Altar Guild Customary. I'm a member of the Altar Guild at St. Paul's Episcopal Church here in Salt Lake City, and I was looking for comparative examples on the web. Peace to you all! EZE MGBADA

Hello, I visited Pohick while a member of Trinity Episcopal, Princeton, NJ music ministry. I remember well the warm welcome we had as our Choir of Men, Boys and Girls led in worship. What I can not recall was the date.but I'm sure it was in the late 70's to early 80's.
